Despite all odds being stacked against us due to starting our organization during a pandemic, and having faced many obstacles along the way, Shak and I persevered. We make it clear that people are our number one asset, and through teamwork, we can happily say we’ve established a bridge between students and unprivileged communities. With HLS, we want to show students that doing anything philanthropic will go a long way, always.

Meet the Health Link Society
It might seem like it is not worth the effort to do a certain event or collaboration because you are worried it might not go well. Almost all of the time though you are going to be happy you ended up through with it because a lot of the small things you were at all, and if it did not meet your expectations, then it becomes a learning opportunity. It is important to just do before you overthink and then reflect on what works and what does not afterwards.
